Experience the joy and beauty of wandering through a field of blooming flowers and selecting your favorite ones to pick and take home. We are open Tuesday-Sunday through mid-October for flower picking. Learn all about it by reading below, or get tickets here.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes admission for two adults or youth over 12. Kids can enter free with an adult with a ticket. You will borrow some snips and a bucket (size shown to the left). You can pick as many flowers as you can fit in the bucket. Then wrap them in our wrapping station to take them home.
What types of flowers will be blooming?
Updated September 17: We currently have sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, snapdragons, strawflowers, ageratum, pincushion flowers and celosia. Flowers are seasonal and subject to weather and pest issues. I will do my best to keep the ticket website updated with which flowers we will have for your ticket date, but we can never fully guarantee that we will have any specific flower.
Important Information
What is the driveway/parking lot like?
We have a narrow gravel driveway and small gravel parking lot. Please enter carefully and follow the instructions of the parking attendant. We may need to use overflow parking on a lawn if we have a lot of visitors.
Footwear and clothing requirements
This is a working flower farm, and while we try to make things comfortable for our guests, you may encounter mud, uneven ground, poison ivy and some weeds. We strongly encourage sturdy, closed toe footwear. Expect to walk up to 200 feet from the parking area to the flower picking field. Check the forecast and dress for the weather.
Can I bring my pet?
Animals are not permitted on the farm except for service animals that are specifically trained to aid an individual with a disability. Pets and emotional support animals will not be permitted to enter.
What if it rains?
If drizzle or light rain is in the forecast, we will still hold the flower picking event. If heavy rain or thunderstorms are expected, we will cancel the event and refund your ticket.
What if I buy a ticket and decide not to come?
We will be unable to refund your ticket once purchased (unless we cancel the event). You may give your ticket to someone else to use by emailing Zoe@sterlingflowerfarm.com and letting me know of the change.
